Not a political statement...Just the messenger as one can bet on just about anything....
Canadian sports-betting website enables the public to bet on Trump's lies, using Washington Post Trump Fact-Checker as an arbiter.
Vancouver, Nov. 6, 2019
-- CanadaSportsBetting.ca, one of Canada's top sports-betting portals, today announced the launch of a new betting market, which enables the public to bet on U.S President Donald Trump’s mistruths, as recorded by the Washington Post Trump Fact-Checker. According to the Washington Post Fact Checker, In his first 993 days in office, President Trump made 13,435 false or misleading claims. Donald trump lies more often than most people wash their hands daily.
Trump is averaging 603 lies per-month so far in 2019. From 1st January to 9th October 2019, Trump has told 5,785 lies.
In January, people bet on how much Trump would lie in his Oval Office address and Won $276,424. Now bookmakers are taking bets on Trump's lie-total at the end of 2019.
“Now, for the first time ever, sports bettors can bet on Donald Trump’s lie-total at the end of the year.” said Daniel Templeton, COO of operations at CanadaSportsBetting.ca. “Our analysis suggested a significant probability that the U.S President will continue to tell mistruths, surpassing a total of 14,000 lies (according to the Washington Post fact-checker) by the end of the year. We could not find any bookmakers offering a suitable betting-market, so it made sense to team up with an online sportsbook to open a suitable betting market”.
The opening odds show an Implied Probability of 54.1% that Donald Trump will exceed 14,000 lies by the end of the year.

Despite his many scathing scandals and controversies, Trump somehow remains the overwhelming favorite to win the next US Presidential election in 2020. The Donald’s current average odds of +110 are 990 points better than his next closest competitor. That isn’t just a gap – it’s yawning chasm – and it could get even wider unless something changes soon.
Nov. 1: For the first time since April, Trump’s odds (+120) give him less than a 50% chance to win the 2020 election. Oct. 22: Trump (-110) continues to be the odds-on favorite Oct. 10: Two Democrat women are making huge gains. Warren’s upward trajectory continued (+310 to +230), and Hillary Clinton(?!) is suddenly surging (+5800 to +2500). Sep. 25, 2019: We have movement! Trump’s impeachment odds are on the rise and that’s led to Elizabeth Warren jumping from +370 to +310. Sep. 13, 2019: Not much change at the top. Trump remains at -110 while Democratic frontrunner Elizabeth Warren is still +370 to be the next POTUS. Sep. 6, 2019: Kamala Harris continues her precipitous drop. Once as short as +680, she’s the now a distant +1500 to become the first female President. But Elizabeth Warren has shot up to +370! Aug. 29, 2019: Trump’s odds fell back slightly to -110, while Elizabeth Warren made the biggest gains (+680 to +460) and now sits alone in second.

Copied from FB worth a read
JFK'S Secretary of State, Dean Rusk, was in France in the early 60's when DeGaulle decided to pull out of NATO. DeGaulle said he wanted all US military out of France as soon as possible. Rusk responded, "Does that include those who are buried here?" DeGaulle did not respond. You could have heard a pin drop.
When in England, at a fairly large conference, Colin Powell was asked by the Archbishop of Canterbury if our plans for Iraq were just an example of 'empire building' by George Bush. He answered by saying, "Over the years, the United States has sent many of Its fine young men and women into great peril to fight for freedom beyond our borders. The only amount of land we have ever asked for In return is enough to bury those that did not return." You could have heard a pin drop.
There was a conference in France where a number of international engineers were taking part, including French and American. During a break, One of the French engineers came back into the room saying, "Have you heard the latest dumb stunt Bush has done? He has sent an aircraft carrier to Indonesia to help the tsunami victims. What does he intend to do, bomb them?" A Boeing engineer stood up and replied quietly: "Our carriers have three hospitals on board that can treat several hundred people; they are nuclear powered and can supply emergency electrical power to shore facilities; they have three cafeterias with the capacity to feed 3,000 people three meals a day, they can produce several thousand gallons of fresh water from sea water each day, and they carry half a dozen helicopters for use in transporting victims and injured to and from their flight deck. We have eleven such ships. How many does France have?" You Could have heard a pin drop.
A U.S. Navy admiral was attending a naval conference that included admirals from the U.S., English, Canadian, Australian and French navies at a cocktail reception. He found himself standing with a large group of officers that included personnel from most of those countries. Everyone was chatting away in English as they sipped their drinks when a French admiral suddenly complained that, whereas Europeans learn many languages, Americans learn only English. He then asked, "Why is it that we always have to speak English in these conferences rather than speaking French?" Without hesitating, the American admiral replied, "Maybe it's because the Brit's, Canadians, Aussie's and Americans arranged it so you wouldn't have to speak German." You could have heard a pin drop.
AND THIS STORY FITS RIGHT IN WITH THE ABOVE... Robert Whiting, an elderly gentleman of 83, arrived in Paris by plane. At French customs, he took a few minutes to locate his passport in his carry on. "You have been to France before, monsieur?" the customs officer asked sarcastically. Mr. Whiting admitted that he had been to France previously. "Then you should know enough to have your passport ready." The American said, "The last time I was here, I didn't have to show it." "Impossible. Americans always have to show their passports on arrival in France !" The American senior gave the Frenchman a long hard look. Then he quietly explained, ''Well, when I came ashore at Omaha Beach on D-Day in 1944 to help liberate this country, I couldn't find a single Frenchmen to show a passport to." You could have heard a pin drop.

Trump's Re-Election Odds Dropping Amid Pandemic Handling
"Trump's presidential odds were as high -200 earlier this month, but they've precipitously plummeted over the last few days,". "Some of it has to do with the Coronavirus, but some of it has to do with Biden's growing lead in the Democratic race."
President Trump's odds have gone from -200 (meaning a $20 wager would return $10 if correct) to -110 ($11 would return $10), currently. In the same span, Joe Biden's odds to be elected President have gone from +150 ($10 would return $15) to even money at +100. Biden had odds as high as +2500 a month ago.
Additionally, Sunday's Democratic debate between Biden and Bernie Sanders. People can bet on how many times Biden will flub his words, how many lies each candidate will tell, the frequency of the word "coronavirus" and more.
How many times will Joe Biden will fumble over words? Over 4.5 Under 4.5
Total non-facts said by Joe Biden (as reported by Washington Post Fact Checker blog) Over 2.5 Under 2.5
Total non-facts said by Bernie Sanders (as reported by Washington Post Fact Checker blog) Over 3.5 Under 3.5
Who will win the debate? (According to CNN's Chris Cillizza) Bernie Sanders -200 Joe Biden +150
Will Bernie Sanders reference Biden's auto worker rant? Yes -150 No +110
How many times will "coronavirus" be said by candidates? Over 10.5 Under 10.5

How many times will "Trump" be said by candidates? Over 22.5 Under 22.5
