The Bucs easily covered after closing as 7.5-point home favorites and the game stayed just Under closing total of 47.5 points. 49ers beat the Cowboys 23-17 after closing as 3.5-point road dogs and + 160 on the money line for the 1st upset of these playoffs. The Westgate SuperBook opened four minutes later at Packers -5.5 and WIlliam Hill quickly went to Packers -5. Most other books were at 5 or 5.5 overnight with the Over/Under at a consensus 47.5.
During the fourth quarter of the Chiefs’ win, Westgate opened the Chiefs as 2.5-point home favorites vs. the Bills (in less than 2 minutes, it was lowered to Chiefs -2) with an Over/Under of 53.5 while the Titans opened as 2.5-point home faves vs. the Bengals with O/U at 46 (quickly bet up to 46.5 and then 47 at most books overnight) and then the Titans were bet across the key number of 3 to -3.5 at just about every book overnight. Saturday
Bengals at Titans (-3.5, 47) (4:30 p.m. ET) - We've got -3 with anywhere from -120 to -125 on the Titans and other shops are at -3.5. The total did officially settle in at 47. It is interesting that a bit of a disappointing injury report for the Bengals defensive line did very little to move the line. Larry Ogunjobi is out for the season and it seems like Mike Daniels will be as well. Not a great sign with Derrick Henry waiting, but it hasn't impacted the line yet.
49ers at Packers (-5.5, 47.5) (8:15 p.m. ET) - It was announced on Monday that Jimmy Garoppolo also suffered a sprained throwing shoulder to go along with his thumb injury. The 49ers also have some defensive line questions of their own. This line ticked up to -5.5 across most of the market, but we haven't seen 6s yet, suggesting that it could be a buy point for underdog bettors.
Sunday
Rams at Bucs (-2.5, 48) (3 p.m. ET) - While the Rams were putting the finishing touches on a beatdown of the Cardinals, the books started posting Bucs -2.5 and 48 for Sunday's early game. The Bucs have some concerns on the offensive line with Tristan Wirfs and Ryan Jensen hurt. Jensen seems more likely to play than Wirfs, but time will tell as the week goes along. For now, let's see if the early action pushes this line up to the key number of 3 or away from that all-important number.
Bills at Chiefs (-2.5, 55) (6:30 p.m. ET) - This line had minimal movement on Monday, as it seems to be a pretty good number. There haven't been many bets on the under yet, as the early forecast looks pretty good in KC with clear skies and minimal wind. Money seems pretty split here on the side, unlike the other two games that have been up for more than a day, where the Titans and Packers have taken the majority of the bets.

Bengals at Chiefs (-7, 53.5) – In the thriller we expected to round out the weekend, the Chiefs outlasted the Bills to make it to the AFC Championship Game for the fourth straight season. This time, they’ll face a team that hasn’t been in this game since 1988. The Chiefs are a touchdown favorite with a total in the low 50s.
There are plenty of fascinating storylines we’ll talk about throughout the week that could impact the line on this game. Many will suggest a Chiefs letdown spot (in the AFC title game?!). Many will downplay the Bengals’ successes because of the manner of their wins.
49ers at Rams (-3.5, 46.5) – As the Rams were blowing out the Bucs early in the second half, lines started to pop with LA -4 against San Francisco in next Sunday’s NFC title game. As the Bucs got back into the game, the line fell from -3.5 down to -3 (-120). We’ll see where this one settles, but the late game is mostly -3.5 and 46.5 across the market.

When the advance lines for the possible Super Bowl matchups were set last week, most books had the Rams -3.5 though the South Point went to Rams -4. The Over/Under dipped a little during early wagering and still hadn’t settled as of late Sunday night as it’s ranging from 49.5 to 50.5.
