Opened with Saints as a 3.5-point road favorite. The public is all over New Orleans. The lopsided betting pushed Saints all the way up to -5.5 during the week. Then a wave of buyback hit Seattle plus the points, dropping the line back down to 4.
Under money hit the market, dropping the total from 44 to 41.5.

The Saints opened as 3.5-point road favorites over the Seahawks, and that line quickly shot up to -5.5. Seattle (+175 on the moneyline), however, is now down to +4 against New Orleans (-210 ML), while the total has dropped from 44 to its current position of 41.5.
“Seattle is one of our biggest liabilities in terms of underdogs this week.”
“Tennessee, Philadelphia, Indy and Seattle in that order. The Titans were the underdog of the week regarding liability, we laid that all week non-stop. The public loves the dog tonight, but not quite at that level.”
“We’re huge Saints fans tonight, anything Seahawks would not be a good result. It’s been coming in on both Seahawks spread and moneyline. It would cap another huge winning week for the players. It’s odd that we would need a favorite on a Monday night game, but we do right now.”
One Nevada bettor placed $66,000 on Seahawks +5 (-110) for potential winnings of $126,000
Another Nevada bettor laid $60,000 on Seahawks +4 (-110) for potential winnings of $54,545.45
Two player props for this Monday night meeting stand out in terms of total dollars wagered and they come on opposite sides ... one is an under on a Saints running back and the other is an over on a Seattle wideout.
The most popular in that category is the under Alvin Kamara rushing attempts, which has slightly fallen from 23.5 to 22.5.
On the flip side of the coin, the over on Tyler Lockett receptions (3.5, over -150/under +120) ranks second.
Two other ones involving each quarterback also are among the most popular:
the over on Jameis Winston passing yards (190.5 opener to 201.5 current number) and the under on Geno Smith rushing yards (21.5 to 14.5).

TwinSpires trading analyst Zachary Lucas
TS has the Saints -4, after opening -3.5 and peaking at -5.5.
Seattle is netting 57% of spread bets and New Orleans 57% of spread dollars.
“Great two-way action. We’ve seen sharp money on both sides.”
The total is down to 41.5 from a 44 opener, in part due to light rain and 10-15 mph winds expected throughout the game.
The Under is getting 60% of bets / 73% of money.
