Well Fish, the state where you now reside is trying to do the same. "Texit" anyone?
History was made when the people of the UK voted today to leave the European Union. The “Leave” movement was given the nickname, “BREXIT.” The newly formed word BREXIT is the combination of “Britain” and “Exit.”
Well, there is a “Leave” movement taking shape here in the U.S., and it’s calling for an independent Texas. The movement to separate Texas from the United States is gaining momentum on Facebook and Twitter, with thousands calling for a “Texit.”
The largest group pushing for secession is the Texas Nationalist Movement, which has been promoting “Texit” over the past several weeks.
The group has taken inspiration from the “Leave” movement in Britain, noting that the two movements share many of the same principles. Daniel Miller, president of the TNM, told Australian website news.com.au, “The vast majority of the laws, rules and regulations that affect the people of Texas are created by the political class or unelected bureaucrats in Washington” — a sentiment which echoes the arguments made by the British Leave campaign.

I'm sure there are many that would like to separate from this administration.
Another story.... Did anyone catch Hillary gushing sentiment towards the undocumented mothers the other day? Almost lost my lunch.

Oh, and Brymel for President. Texas is already producing their own Gin,Scotch and Whiskey and all are notably fine examples. Bry will have ammo stores more plentiful than 7-11's.

A NEW TEXAS MAY VERY WELL BE FORMED, BUT IT WON'T BE "TEXIT"
CERTAINLY, CLOSER TO BEING A NEW STATE OF OUR WONDERFUL SOUTHERN NEIGHBOR, MEHICO .....
WELCOME TO TEXICO !
YOU SEE, FOR THE LIFE OF ME, I CAN'T GRASP HOW WITH ALL THAT TEXAS BRAVADO, AND THEIR HISTORY, THAT THEY TOLERATE THE AMOUNT OF DRUGS AND ILLEGALS THAT INUNDATE THEIR STATE.
I ENVISION TOUGH GUYS IN JEEPS, 4 WHEELERS, AND ON HORSEBACK ONLY AN ARMS LENGTH AWAY FROM EACH OTHER, ALL ALONG THE BORDER W/MEHICO. STANDING GUARD W/AR-15'S, HENRY'S, 30.06'S, MOSIN NAGANTS, ETC; ALL STRAPPED W/1911'S, JUST DARING A BROWN SKIN TO CROSS THEM OR THE BORDER 24/7/365 ........
BUT, ALAS THAT ISN'T THE CASE, BORDER TOWNS MUST HAVE A LOT OF GUYS IN ON THE GRAFT...... GUESS MONEY TALKS AND BULLSHIT WALKS .....
REMEMBER THE ALAMO....... NOPE !

I guess the majority of GB aren't friendly to diversification. I've never cared much for the Packers either. Probably not much diversification up there in Wisconsin. Definitely not many Mexicans.

The Texas-Mexico border makes up 1,254 miles of the 1,900-mile-long U.S.-Mexico border. The Texas towns along that border are horrendous as far as drug cartel occupation and being used to smuggle people from Mexico and deep within South America...not to mention jihadis infiltrating the mix. NOT ENOUGH is being reported...Americans are basically being kept in the dark, or disinterested because they do not live there.
