![]() ![]() After a sleepless evening.....Tried to run maintenance on SAS but as expected encountered problems with the post data base...Will have a decision to make regarding new software and etc...Meanwhile I have submitted a forwarding request to GoDaddy to redirect to this site..As of now this is temporary...This is a bare bones forum..There are bells and whistles I can add and will do so should members be satisfied with this format...I have tested several new forums and will continue... The redirect should take effect at some point this morning..all SAS'ers will be pointed to this site.... |

The point I purchase the full forum options (ad free...News feed plus other options) am thinking along these lines...
I have turned down the last 3-4 requests to join the Premium side...I do not advertise nor seek out new members therefore am considering NO Public Side...
Thoughts?
I also have some fine tuning to do now so if you have features or adjustments..let me know

Regarding no public side, I wouldn't bother if you're not searching new members. It's a pain in the ass to keep up with it. I actually prefer this back up with a simple general forum.

I would think any new members that join would come from referrals anyway. Don't envision too many randoms coming aboard without knowing someone here already.
With that said, I noticed when I signed in that you only have to be 13 to join. In another couple of years I can get my daughter and the rest of the 8th grade class from her Catholic School to join in.
Once I get them on the forum, shouldn't be too difficult to convince all the nuns and priests to come aboard as well. I'm already working on that nun that bagged that big buck in PA that is all over the news at the moment.
Lord knows, I can use all the divine intervention that i can get with some of the awful plays that I have posted throughout the years.

Keep in mind everyone's input is appreciated.....I will at some point see if I can open the old forum for a bit before blowing it away..I will give notice should anyone want to copy info.........Still a learning process with the new site....Trying to understand the options/addons I can purchase to improve things...First one is an add free site..secondly is plug ins to offer options we are familiar with. If you aren't on my email or text list please supply info as I no longer have access to SAS..
I will also be testing the subscribe option to see if we can set it up via text for those interested
Be patient, we will get there maybe LOL
